Get your phone number live

To go live with Bonnie you need a dedicated phone number. There are two ways to set this up. Pick the one that fits your venue best.

Our team can arrange this with you, just ask. Here is how both options work so you can choose what fits, and Sophie, the chat in the corner, can help if you get stuck.

Option A: we request a number for you

Bonnie requests a phone number on your behalf. We always request a local number, with a local area code for your region, so callers see a familiar local number. Your existing restaurant number stays active and becomes the transfer line Bonnie uses to reach your staff.

What you need to do:

That is it, you are live. Callers now hear Bonnie, and when a transfer is needed Bonnie reaches your staff on your original number, which stays active.

Good to know: anyone who saved your old number in the past can still reach you directly.

Option B: keep your existing number

Your current number stays on Google, your website and everywhere else. You request a second line from your telecom provider for Bonnie to transfer to.

Why a second line? Bonnie is forwarded to your main number. When a guest asks to speak to someone, Bonnie needs a separate number to transfer to, otherwise the call ends up in a loop.

What you need to do:

Which should I choose?

Not sure which fits? Ask a person from Get help and we will set it up with you. You can also reach support at support@bonnie.co or call +31 850 659 600.
