Reservation systems
Bonnie works with the reservation system you already use, writing bookings straight into it. What Bonnie can do differs a little per system. To connect one, see Connect your reservation system.
Good to know: Formitable became part of Zenchef in 2024. We still run them as two separate integrations, so if you book through Formitable you are on the Formitable integration, and if you use Zenchef you are on the Zenchef one. They behave a little differently, so they are listed separately below.
What each system supports
These are the systems Bonnie connects with directly. The values below come from our internal feature overview.
| System | Availability | Make | Change | Cancel | Look up | Message venue |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Formitable | yes | yes | yes | yes | phone + name | yes |
| Zenchef | yes | yes | yes | yes | phone + name | yes |
| TheFork | yes | yes | yes | yes | phone | no |
| TableFever | yes | yes | yes | yes | phone | no |
| OpenTable | yes | yes | yes | yes | phone | no |
| Guestplan | yes | yes | same call only | same call only | no | no |
Notes: - Look up is how Bonnie finds an existing booking. Formitable and Zenchef find it by phone number, or by name, date and time. TheFork, TableFever and OpenTable find it by phone number only. - Guestplan: Bonnie can change or cancel a booking only within the same call, and cannot look one up afterwards. She can read a guest profile only shortly before that guest's booking, not search existing bookings by phone. - Message venue means Bonnie can pass a guest's message or request to your team. Supported on Formitable and Zenchef only.
Booking confirmations
Every connected system sends the guest a standard confirmation. Formitable, Zenchef, TheFork, TableFever and Guestplan also let Bonnie send a WhatsApp confirmation with a link to manage the booking. OpenTable sends its own SMS confirmation instead.
Late arrival handling
If a guest tells Bonnie they are running late, what happens depends on the system:
- Formitable and TheFork: a grace period can be configured, and Bonnie adjusts the reservation or holds the table accordingly, and logs the message for your team.
- Zenchef: a grace period can be configured, and Bonnie records the guest's message as a reservation note for staff. There is no automatic delay handling beyond that note.
- Guestplan, TableFever and OpenTable: no specific late-arrival support. Your team handles it manually.
The grace period (how many minutes a table is held past the booking time before it counts as a no-show) is a per-restaurant setting.
Deposits and prepayment
- Formitable, Zenchef, TheFork and OpenTable: deposits and prepayment are supported.
- Formitable: can also release the table automatically when a deposit expires. For Zenchef this is in progress.
- Guestplan and TableFever: not supported.
Experiences, tickets and special offers
Where the system supports it, Bonnie can handle add-ons on top of a normal table booking:
- Formitable: tickets.
- Zenchef: experiences.
- TheFork: special offers.
- Guestplan: services.
- OpenTable: supported.
- TableFever: not supported.
Cross-sell when fully booked
When the requested venue is full, Bonnie can suggest another restaurant in the same group. This is available in a basic form on Formitable only (group venues), and not on the other systems yet.
Guestplan: a note on availability
With Guestplan, Bonnie cannot always tell from the system whether a day is closed or simply fully booked. To avoid confusion, Bonnie never tells a caller the venue is "closed" in that case. She says there is no availability on that day instead.
Other systems
- GoTable: connected, our team sets it up for you. Its detailed capabilities are still to verify against our feature overview.
- Tebi and SevenRooms: Bonnie does not connect with these directly. She helps the caller by sending your booking link over WhatsApp instead. See Connect your reservation system.
- Resmio: we are currently exploring this integration.
- FRANK: not available yet.
- Hotels (Mews) and food delivery (Deliverect): under exploration, separate from restaurant reservations.
The list keeps growing. If you do not see yours, ask and we will tell you where it stands.
If nothing is connected yet
Bonnie still helps without a connected system:
- New bookings: she points the caller to your website to book online, and offers to send the link by WhatsApp.
- Existing bookings: she points to the confirmation email, or offers to transfer to your venue.
- Tip: put your website link in your assistant instructions so Bonnie can send the right address by WhatsApp.

Want a new integration?
Tell us which system you would like Bonnie to connect with. We prioritise based on what customers ask for, so your request genuinely helps. Reach us from Get help.
Building your own integration (developers)
If you are a developer or technical partner and want Bonnie to call your own system as a tool (reservations, CRM, payments, calendars, or custom logic), you can build an MCP server that Bonnie discovers and calls on the phone and over WhatsApp. See MCP server integration.
