Scheduled exceptions
You can now plan your call routing ahead on a transfer flow, instead of editing it by hand on the day itself and having to remember to change it back. Set up a holiday, a renovation week or a whole season in advance, and Bonnie switches over automatically for that period and switches back when it ends.
What you can set
On any transfer flow you add one or more exception periods. For each period you choose:
- A date range (from and to): a single day, a week, or a whole season.
- An optional label, so you recognise it later (for example "Renovation week").
- Yearly recurring, for closures that repeat every year.
- What happens during the period, either:
- Closed: Bonnie tells callers you are closed, with your own message (for example "We are closed for our summer break until 28 July"), or
- Adjusted hours: transfers run on different hours for that window, with a stand-in number for that period.
Why it helps
- Plan up to a year ahead, including closures that repeat every year.
- Use a different stand-in number per period.
- Overlapping periods are checked for you, so they cannot conflict.
- Nothing to migrate: it layers on top of your existing transfer flow, so your current setup keeps working.
- Active and planned exceptions show right on the transfer flow card (for example "Renovation week, adjusted hours until 18-7-2026, 2 planned exceptions"). Past ones sit behind a toggle.
Where to find it
Dashboard, then Transfer flows, then edit a transfer flow, then add exception periods.
