Your FAQ: questions, answers and links
Your FAQ is where you store the information Bonnie uses to answer callers' questions. It lives on the FAQ tab of your assistant.
You can set this up yourself, or ask us to build it from your existing menu and FAQ. Sophie, the chat in the corner, can walk you through it.
What it contains
- Q&As: a question and an answer Bonnie uses to respond to callers, for example "Do you have a terrace?" answered with "Yes, our terrace is open from May through September."
- Links: a URL with a label, for example "Menu" pointing to your menu URL. Bonnie never reads links out loud. She only sends them in WhatsApp messages after the call.
Where to find it
- Sign in at app.bonnie.ai.
- Go to Assistants and click your assistant.
- Open the FAQ tab.
Adding a Q&A
- On the FAQ tab, add the question and the answer.
- Click Save at the bottom of the page.
Keep answers under 35 words where possible. Bonnie reads them aloud, so short and clear works better than long and complete.
If you have a block of text (a menu description, an email, an old FAQ), you can paste it in and let Bonnie suggest Q&As from it. Review the suggestions, edit or remove any that are not right, and save.
Adding a link
On the FAQ tab, add a link with a label (for example "Menu" or "Book online") and paste the URL. In your post-call prompt, tell Bonnie when to send which link, for example: "If the caller asked about the menu, send the Menu link by WhatsApp." Only the label is mentioned on the call, never the URL.
Keep it tidy
- Put the most common questions first.
- Delete outdated entries (last year's event, a closure that has passed, a previous business name). Old entries confuse Bonnie. See Writing good instructions.
