Email notifications
After each call Bonnie writes a summary and can email it to you. You choose which calls trigger an email, who receives it, and whether to include the full transcript. You set this on the Notifications tab of your assistant.
Set up notifications
- In the dashboard, go to Assistants and click your assistant.
- Open the Notifications tab.
- At Triggers, tick the outcomes you want an email for:
- Follow-up by the business needed
- Caller should be called back
- Transferred
- Information provided
- Completed
- No action needed
- At Recipient, choose who receives the emails.
- Turn on Include transcript if you want the full call in the email.
- Click Save.
Send notifications to a different email address
The Recipient dropdown only lists people who already have access to your dashboard. If the email address you want is not in the list, that address does not have access yet, so you add the person as a user first:
- At the bottom left of the menu, go to Account.
- Open User and click Invite user.
- Enter the email address and send the invite.
Once the user is added, their address appears as an option under Recipient. Select it and click Save.
What is in the email
- The assistant's name.
- Caller info (number, and name if known).
- A summary of the call.
- The outcome and topic.
- How long the call lasted.
- Optionally, the full transcript.
- A link to the call in your dashboard.
Route topics to the right inbox
In your post-call prompt you can send emails to different addresses based on the call topic. For example: event enquiries to events@yourvenue.com, job applications to hr@yourvenue.com. Bonnie routes the summary to the right person.
Daily report
- On the Notifications tab, turn on Daily report.
- Pick the time.
- Pick the recipient.
- Click Save.
Common issues
- The wrong person gets the email: check whether you use a shared inbox (like reception@) that forwards internally. Bonnie sends to the address you set; any further forwarding is your own email config.
- I stopped getting emails: check the Notifications tab. The trigger filters may be too strict.
