Connect your reservation system

Linking your reservation system lets Bonnie check availability, take new bookings, and change or cancel existing ones, writing everything straight into the system you already use. How you connect depends on which system you have. Find yours below.

You do not have to do this alone. Our team can connect it for you, just let us know which system you use. The steps below are here for if you want to set it up or change it yourself, and Sophie, the chat in the corner, can guide you through it.

For these systems our team handles the connection, you do not need to do anything technical. Just let us know you use one of them.

You start it, we finish on our side

For these, do the short step in your own system (or sign up), then our team completes the connection.

Guestplan

1. Go to app.guestplan.com/apps/manage.
2. Log in to your Guestplan account.
3. Search for Bonnie in the Appstore and click Activate.

Once that is done, we take care of the rest on our side.

Zenchef

1. Go to app.zenchef.com (partners).
2. Log in to your Zenchef account.
3. Search for Bonnie in the list of integrations and click Connect.

Once that is done, we take care of the rest on our side.

Formitable became part of Zenchef in 2024. If your account runs on Zenchef, use these steps. If you book through Formitable, use the Formitable steps below instead.

Formitable

To let Bonnie make and manage bookings in Formitable, create an API key and share it with our team:

1. Log in to Formitable.
2. Go to the team page (Settings → Team).
3. Click + Team Member.
4. Enter pollie-formitable@pollie.ai as the email. At the bottom of the page, under Advanced, enable API User.
5. Click Get API Key and write down the key.
6. Click Permissions and enable ALL permissions, except:
7. Modify your restaurant settings
8. View sold tickets, gift cards and take-out orders
9. Share the API key with our support team at support@bonnie.ai.

OpenTable

For OpenTable we provide a connection code. Sign up at app.bonnie.ai/signup, and our support team gives you the code to connect it.

Via a WhatsApp booking link

We do not connect with these directly. Bonnie still helps the caller: instead of writing the booking herself, she sends your booking link over WhatsApp so the caller finishes the reservation in your own flow.

Put your booking link in your assistant instructions so Bonnie always has it ready. This also works for any system we do not integrate with yet. See Reservation systems.

After connecting, Bonnie can

• Check availability.
• Make new reservations.
• Change and cancel reservations, where the system allows it.
• Look up an existing reservation, where the system allows it.

What each system supports differs per system. For example, look-up by name works on some systems but not all, and Guestplan can only change or cancel within the same call. See Reservation systems for the full capability overview.
